I can't comment for total time available on battery within windows as I didn't test it long enough but I'd say it's less than the stated 9 hours as Windows is a resource hog. It does have some flex, it doesn't seem to be the hinges moving but rather the actual plastic casing around the bottom of the screen flexing slightly.
