About this deal

In my Starting School book, written for the children to read - I talk about this at the very beginning so children understand what those feelings are and why it’s completely OK and how they can help soothe themselves.

Also knowing the letters of their own name is a great place to start when it comes to learning the alphabet and getting them excited about all the learning to come.Registered office address: Unit 34 Vulcan House Business Centre, Vulcan Road, Leicester, Leicestershire, LE5 3EF. Then once they’ve got the hang of that they do two wipes and I do a final one, then hopefully after that they should be able to attempt all three. My kids played with them for 30 seconds and made the kind of mess that you’re still finding the remnants of 3 weeks later. Cardboard boxes, egg boxes, plastic scoops or bottles - good for potions play or random crafting (always in the garden - I cannot be doing with the mess in the house! If you've ever taken a child (or sat near one) on public transport - you know how important this book is.

If they are walking along chatting about school and eating chocolate buttons it will seem like a nice and happy time – and they will associate this with school. The book band reminded the same, he still often sounded out ‘m-a-n’ and said “biscuit”, we still reached for the bottle of wine after ‘reading’ with him! Galt Rainbow lab - this kit is fun to do anyway but the pipettes, tubes and little pots are brilliant for basic potion play afterwards using the food colouring. It goes without saying that Mummy and Daddy’s secret chocolate cupboard and wine/gin/tequila stash is generously contributed to of course.

These games are roughly for ages 5-7 and are designed to make homework more fun or to encourage reading, writing and maths at home in an easy way, that doesn’t feel like a chore. For some children being able to draw simply requires showing them how to hold a pencil (one block) but for others they need to be shown how to draw each shape individually with support (lots of blocks). Read a starting school book together - now obviously I’m going to recommend my own one (blow my own trumpet much?

Most purchases from business sellers are protected by the Consumer Contract Regulations 2013 which give you the right to cancel the purchase within 14 days after the day you receive the item.

So we adjust as teachers and find new interesting and different ways to teach them, but the blocks are still stacking up. This is quite a hard skill to teach but in my opinion probably the most useful one to do if you prepare them no other way. But when she had her own children, she found she never quite managed to drink a brew while it was still remotely warm. You could read it all at once or dip into it during the build up to this big new adventure - it’s entirely up to you and your little one!
